Shared Work

Shared Work is our embodiment of the Gandhian and Quaker ideal that all community members are equals. During Shared Work times staff and students labor together on all facets of community living from meal preparation to gardening and site maintenance. In addition, students and staff have daily chores such as meal clean-up, chopping firewood or taking the compost to the garden.
